   So, I'm older and last smoked DMT in the early 80's. The vape was nice and simple, the smoke is harsh as I recall. Kinda a burning plastic kinda smoke. Getting the cough under control was the learning curve part. Watch a few videos on YouTube before that first drag. I wasted a bit figuring out how deep and how long to take to control the cough. My advice would take far less than you think is right the first hit, then a bit more, and a bit more. Once you're at the LSD wavey visuals, you'll probably not want to take another, and that's the one you want to take long and hard. The cough reflex is subdued at that point. Next time I'll buy two just so I know I have enough to lose myself. It's still a 15-minute, maybe half hour adventure, and there is no down time afterwards. the old Business Mans High adage from way back still holds true. The real adventure is knowing how to get the full effect. if you fail once, try again. Safe Travels!

   This was my first experience with DMT, and I gotta be honest, 1g sadly wasn't enough for me to truly blast off into space like I thought I would have. I'm quite experienced with psilocybin, so I'm very aware of what can happen when using this kind of powerful stuff. I've read the forums and listened to the podcasts, so I had a fairly good idea of what DMT was going to be like. I ended up going with headphones in, with a song/prayer called "Devi Prayer by Craig Pruess" playing in my ears to set a very peaceful and serene "head space". Now, I write this with the classic DMT stutter bc it's impossible to truly describe the experience in words. I saw the DMT jesters for a brief moment, but when they saw me, they had no power over me and vanished within seconds. With my eyes open, the world was hazy with fractals and shapes, all coalescing into one another. I was able to see the "matrix" of existence, for lack of a better word, with fractal tunnels all around me. Paintings on my walls were "moving", just like what happens when I ingest 5g+ of psilocybin. But there were no other "beings" like I was hoping for. The real fun began when I closed my eyes and began meditating to the prayer playing in my headphones. In my "mind's eye", I saw snakes/dragons and butterflies moving about in the shape of infinity. But to be completely honest, with my eyes closed, the "visuals" were no different than when I meditate sober, which was kinda odd, but also kinda comforting knowing my meditation practice is going well, lol. The experience lasted about 35-40 minutes (roughly). I'm happy, I'm safe, and I'm incredibly grateful to have had this experience. I can't wait for the next one. I do highly recommend this pen, bc it is powerful and it does the job for sure. I'm simply going to have to consume 2 pens to see if that's what transports me beyond the veil.
